Bible Study Tool
Every year in January most Christians begin a new Bible reading plan. Genesis is often the place to start. Whether it’s Chronological or simply beginning with the Old Testament Genesis is the place to begin.
There are many wonderful Bible resources to use when studying the Bible. Several commentaries, dictionaries, and other tools are available in both written form and online. Some online resources are free like Blue Letter Bible, for example, and others charge a nominal fee.
I recently found a Bible commentary specific to the book of Genesis. Written by Robert Alter it contains a scriptural translation and commentary on the same page. I found it insightful during my studies in the book of Genesis.
The commentary provided very clear and insightful explanations of the chapters I was reading. If you’re looking for a great new resource to add to your Bible study tools, this is a wonderful addition. Genesis: translation and commentary by Robert Alter is available both new and used.
