Did you forget
How I parted the Red Sea
And Pharaoh’s army drowned
Even as my people walked through?
Did you forget
How Moses survived as a child
After so many others died
Pharaoh’s daughter took him
And raised him as her own
Not becoming their king
But the Children of Israel’s leader?
Did you forget
How Ruth gave up and was blessed
With a husband that God approved?
Did you forget
How much Jesus suffered and did not complain?
So much pain endured, and purpose fulfilled.
Did you forget
That I’m coming back for a church
Without spot or blemish?
REPENT and live!
Thus, saith the Lord.
